Just some quick math observations. 

The current Bitcoin market cap is close to 17 billion. In comparison Apple is 739 Billion (largest stock market cap). The S&P 500 market cap is over 21 Trillion. While these are stocks and not cryptocurrencies, it makes for an interesting comparison. 

Only as a numerical example... if the market cap of Bitcoin were to someday reach one Trillion USD, A single Bitcoin would have a value of 47.6 Thousand USD (assuming 21000000 Total Bitcoins).
